Lead wire processing case: It was done manually, and we were troubled by scratches on the core wire.

This is a case where we received a request from a client who was having trouble with multiple instances of damaged or broken core wires due to processing lead wires in-house.

At Pearcom, we process lead wires used for component assembly in-house, performing tasks such as measuring, cutting, stripping, pre-soldering, and crimping. We have equipment like lead wire processing machines, and a large number of knowledgeable veteran staff members. This time, we would like to introduce a case from a company that was troubled by damaged or broken core wires due to in-house processing of lead wires. [Challenge] The company was facing issues with damaged core wires and multiple breakages due to in-house processing of lead wires. [Proposal] We proposed that instead of manual processing, we could set the blades for each wire diameter using machines, and with 60 skilled technicians available, we could handle the task effectively. [Resolution] Since the condition of copper wire changes with humidity and temperature, we managed the room temperature according to the situation and made precise blade settings for the copper wire. We optimized the stripping blade's engagement. This allowed us to allocate time spent on production to other value-added tasks, making the process easier and resulting in a defect rate of zero, which was greatly appreciated.

Wiring example of cable lines: Cable wiring and soldering for a programming car.

This is a case where you are looking for a company that can handle wiring and soldering for cables used in sensors and tire power systems, and you have contacted us for assistance.

At Pearcom, we process lead wires used for component assembly in-house, performing tasks such as measuring, cutting, stripping, pre-soldering, and crimping. We have equipment like lead wire processing machines and a number of knowledgeable veteran staff members. This time, we would like to introduce a case of a company that was looking for a partner capable of wiring and soldering cables used for sensors and tire power. 【Challenge】 A company that wanted to sell remote-controlled cars as programming educational materials for elementary school students was searching for a company that could assemble the car and perform wiring and soldering for cables used for sensors and tire power. 【Proposal】 Since the company did not own a factory, we proposed to provide sample products and handle the selection of wires (cables), soldering, and cable assembly. 【Solution】 We created a step-by-step manual with photos and carefully coordinated the future processes. After several exchanges with the client, a detailed manual was completed, and they were very pleased with its thoroughness. Previously, they had been using a lighter to heat the wires, which sometimes caused them to melt, but since our company has been engaged in cable-related work for many years, we delivered the products to their satisfaction.

Lead wire processing case: Requested by our company due to issues with costs and time in manual work.

A case study where the total cost decreased compared to in-house processing of lead wire manufacturing, and the management workload for process management, work guidance, and quality records was reduced, leading to satisfaction!

At Pearcom, we process lead wires used for component assembly in-house, performing tasks such as measuring, cutting, stripping, pre-soldering, and crimping. We have equipment such as lead wire processing machines and a number of knowledgeable veteran staff members. This time, we would like to introduce a case from a company that requested our services regarding the cost and time issues of manual lead wire processing. [Challenge] The company had been processing lead wires in-house, but it was costly and time-consuming, and they wanted to find a solution. [Proposal] We proposed to the company that they provide us with drawings and specifications, and we would supply samples. We suggested that with our delivery times and multiple production lines, we could provide the service in a shorter period than their previous in-house processing. [Resolution] The total cost was reduced compared to in-house production, and the management workload for process management, work guidance, and quality records decreased. This allowed the on-site personnel to be reallocated to higher value-added processes, which was greatly appreciated. Additionally, Pearcom conducts 100% visual inspections of lead wires, with the capability of inspecting 50,000 pieces per day. We have the production capacity to perform visual inspections of up to 1 million pieces per month.
